 Children's acquisition of speech is particularly intensive in the first 3 years but continues into early primary school.  For some children, speech acquisition may be delayed or disordered.  Speech can also deteriorate as a result of accident, illness or injury.

Learning to read and write is a key ingredient in achieving success at school, participation in the workforce, and attaining independence. Literacy development requires the integration of many learning areas including knowledge of sounds, vocabulary, grammar and ability to plan. I have completed the Sounds-Write 4 day training course.

Telehealth services may be of assistance if you live in a regional or remote area, need after hours appointments, or have a health condition which makes face-to-face appointments unsuitable. Telehealth services also enable you to continue accessing supports at times when you or someone who may accompany you to the appointment are not well
