Manda DALTON, DIRECTOR/Speech Pathologist
As a child, my uncle nicknamed me “Red Hen” not only because I had red hair, but because I was always busy helping other people. My red hair may have faded, but I have not lost my passion for helping others. I have 25 years experience working with children, adolescents and adults with both developmental and acquired communication and swallowing challenges. I have worked in a variety of settings and organisations over the years including Government and non-government agencies. I graduated from the University of Queensland with a Bachelor of Speech Pathology and Honours in Audiology in 1998. In 2016, I obtained my Masters of Disability Studies from Flinders University.
In 2020 I hatched an idea - to do what I do best in the way I want to do it – to provide an independent, family/person-centred speech pathology service for clients of all ages. Red Hen Speech Pathology was born! I have now been running RHSP for 4 years and love going to work every day.

Red Hen Speech Pathology offers a mobile therapy service. Appointments occur in the client's home, school, workplace, child care centre or in community locations as negotiated.
